Destiny turns a Teen
Destiny….
Makeda planned this out to the very last detail. She, Destiny’s mom called me a few months before the birthday date and spoke at length about her plans to do a birthday shoot for her precious beautiful princess and how many things she planned for Destiny’s birthday and made me just as excited to capture this super shy teen.
Destiny was quite shy but would warm up and the shoot got going. This purple and blue theme shoot started in my home bassed shoot and the fact that Makeda is a photographer herself made it fun as I set up lighting for Makeda to shoot most of this hour and a half shoot. I would step in by changing light set ups and allowing Makeda to capture most of the shoot herself. Images here are from “my captures”. Most of what i shot were donr in natural light as i walked outside in my yard to put the cherry on this beautiful birthday photoshoot cake. I have been doing lots of this type of home studio teen and adult shoots at home lately because the covid put a damper on the industry so to keep my craft flowing I’ve moved with the times and open up my studio.
Destiny’s shoot ooened up the door for quite a few others and i can only hope that it keeps flowing.
