Emancipation Day (best of)
I have been shooting the EmancipationDay parade for quite a few years now but for the past two years because of the pandemic there were no Emancipation Day march through the streets of Port of Spain. Oh how we took simple things for granted, that is, until Covid showed up.
Since I am unable to bask in the glory of the streets on a beautiful Emancipation sunny day, a day that usually starts of as a rainy morning, I made a decision to return to my past facebook albums to highlight some of the photos I captured over the years and present to you what I call the Best of Emancipation Day. These captures started in 2013 I believe and were last snapped in 2019. The quality of the photos may vary and this is a reflection of my growth as a photographer. So, please allow me to share with you what i deem some of the best of Emancipation Day Parade. As a bonus I have added a few images that relate to the days coming up to Emancipation Day which include some shots of work i did with an African clothing store or African styled family shoot. Please share the album and remember to “long press on a photo” to share or download. You can also comment at the end of the gallery.  One love.
